Hot Stones!!!
Have been on second part of hot stones fusion massage course over the last three days, and am completely exhausted. Am going to fall into bed with a book and maybe a couple of rounds of the grey one. Managed half a round during lunch time on the course. Good for relaxing. I needed it!

Knitdelayed
As predicted, no knitting achieved over the weekend, however a good time was had teaching workshops and assisting massage therapists to sign up for advanced courses. And I've knitted a few rounds of the grey one since I got back. It seems to be going quicker and quicker, but will probably grind to a halt as soon as Christmas shopping kicks in!

I received, amongst other tomes, two knitting books in the post today, ordered from amazon. First 'The Knitting experience book 2 - The Purl Stitch'. As classy and inspiring as the first one. Then the lovely book 'Poems of Color; Knitting in the Bohus Tradition', (currently only available from amazon.com), a beautiful history of this Swedish organisation and includes sumptuous picis and not a few patterns and charts. Personally, I would ignore the patterns and adapt the charts, but the shaping of the garments is good enough to follow to the letter. Click on bookstore for amazon.com and amazon.co.uk links to these books. The first is in 'beginners' the second in 'advanced'. I need variety to satisfy the knitter in me.

What a Sweetie!
Tomsk as a very ikkle kitten. Tamara's Siberian Feline is no longer so ikkle and is turning out to be a very fine young juvenile delinquent indeed. One of Tomsk' favourite pastimes is emailing me, favouring the 'distract Tamara, then place large paw delicately upon selected key clusters' approach. I shall harangue Tamara for a current photo, in which, I predict, he will be showing off his boundless beauty.

Mike's cable sweater is progressing faster than expected. I'm doing a bodywork training show in London tomorrow and Monday, so shall take it with me for the evening and inbetween moments. Of which there will probably be none :)
