19th August 2002
Internet connection works! And that means so can I :( Have started textured scarf in reds, pici below.
17th August 2002
Black Jacket is finished!!!!! I found some metallic / black buttons I had used on a now outgrown waistcoat for my daughter some years ago and they look fantastic! I also left the rather extravagant collar and knitted a more simple round collar in garter stitch, which will allow me to wear scarves with more ease. Am very chuffed, but weather is too hot to even contemplate wearing it yet.
More good news: son number two passsed his driving test today and is a very happy bunny.
Don't know what to knit now. the basket of reds is crying out for something, but I took down the beginning of a top and have made no further headway. Usually I start a new project before the old one is quite finished, but that did not work out this time, so I am stranded. Will have to knit some socks. Where is my sock book... ?
Have signed up again with The Free Internet aka V21, but it does not work yet, despite the fact that they can start sucking the money from my account. Grrr.
