Building a strongbox, or actually installing it somewhere around the house is not a piece of cake. You have to think it over twice or three times in every aspect before taking any action at all. The first thing worth considering is the most important factor - the place for the hideout. Installing the strongbox under the surface of your floor is an old idea. Putting it inside the wall is also very common. All the gangster movies contain scenes where the safes can be seen installed behind some enormous pictures hanging on the walls, or in the floor surface. Coming up with a good idea can be crucial. Buying a big strongbox can be quite costly, especially as the product is rather rare and the demand for it is very small. Only big corporations and banks are usually interested in this kind of goods and they have their own suppliers to provide that. A private person may for example look for a strongbox for gold bullion or some other stock value items kept at home. A strongbox in which only gold bullion will be kept does not have to be large. It only should be large enough for the gold bullion to lay there. Many people fill their strongboxes with savings on form of normal banknotes. Obviously those take a bit more space.
